Gideon Rabinowitz

Gideon Rabinowitz

Gideon is responsible to the Board of Trustees for all decision-making and day-to-day management.

Gideon is also responsible for LRC's policy work on trade and development, including research, advocacy, project development and implementing the TDP and EPA projects.

Gideon has a BSc in Economic History (LSE), an MSc in Political Economy of Development (SOAS) and has experience of working in a campaigning role with a number of UK NGOs.

Special areas of interest include: EU-Africa trade, trade-poverty linkages and governance.

 

Susannah Christie

Susannah Christie

Susannah Christie is responsible for the financial and company secretarial information at CUTS, as well as helping construct and seek funding for project proposals.

A qualified accountant with a background in a wide variety of organisations, including both large and small commercial companies as well as charities, she is increasingly working beyond the traditional remit of accountancy.

Special areas of interest include competition and government accountability.

Simon Chorley

Simon Chorley is responsible for organising the logistics of the

Soho to Soweto debates on development issues.  

Simon has a BA in International Relations with Development Studies, and an MA in Contemporary War and Peace Studies, both from the University of Sussex in Brighton.

He has experience in advocacy, lobbying, and campaigning for

various organisations, and areas of interest include tackling human trafficking, and religion and conflict.

 

Jonathan Chatterton

Jonathan is a policy intern however his responsibilities extend beyond tea making to include support for organising events, updating and developing the website and producing outreach materials.

Jonathan has a BA in Economics and Geography (European) from the University of Leeds and has experience working for NGOs in the UK and Africa.

Special areas of interest include: Trade-poverty linkages, the dynamics of famine and

civil society empowerment.
