Aid for Trade - (What) can it deliver for development?
On 5th June CUTS brought together
brought together representatives from the UK government, UK and European NGOs, research institutes, international institutions such as UNIDO, ITC and OECD and CUTS’ partners from Kenya, Nepal and Uganda to discuss developments with the WTO Aid for Trade initiative.

In October 2007 CUTS led an important discussion on the IF in Geneva
On October 16th 2007 CUTS LRC led a workshop on the Enhanced Integrated Framework in Geneva, Switzerland. With speakers from Zambia, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Canada, UNCTAD and CUTS LRC and ARC the event was a great success. CUTS presents at high level meetings on Aid for Trade
Continuing its efforts to communicate insights from its work on trade across Africa and Asia to the ongoing discussions on Aid for Trade, CUTS was invited to speak on high level panels on Aid for Trade at ODI and the European Parliament.

EPAs training workshops organised in Kenya and Zambia
With the Eastern and Southern African countries now formally negotiating a free trade agreement with the European Union CUTS organised training workshops in Kenya and Zambia for civil society activists in working on the negotiation.
