Universidade Estadual de Campinas (State University of Campinas) is one of the public universities of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. As of 2004, the university had about 14,000 undergraduate and 10,000 graduate students, as well as 1,800 faculty staff. It is considered one of the best and most productive research and educational institutions in Latin America, responsible for around 15% of all Brazilian research.

The Institute for International Trade Negotiations is an independent non-profit organisation. Their main objective is the development of studies and applied research to support international trade negotiations, particularly in the area of agribusiness, thus contributing to a broader integration of Brazil into the world economy. It was founded in March 2003 and is supported by seven Brazilian private associations. It maintains projects and partnerships with international organisations, governmental agencies, and the private sector.
