Aid for Trade - (What) can it deliver for development?
On 5th June CUTS brought together brought together representatives from the UK government, NGOs, research institutes, international institutions such as UNIDO, ITC and OECD and CUTS’ partners from Kenya, Nepal and Uganda to discuss developments with the WTO Aid for Trade initiative.
EPAs training workshops organised in Kenya and Zambia
With the Eastern and Southern African countries now formally negotiating a free trade agreement with the European Union CUTS organised training workshops in Kenya and Zambia for civil society activitists working on the negotiations.
CUTS INTERNATIONAL WAS ESTABLISHED AS A CHARITY IN 2003, TO SUPPORT DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES AROUND THE WORLD IN INFLUENCING TRADE POLICY DISCUSSIONS AND NEGOTIATIONS.
